They work! Easy application and I have had no problems with this product. Worth the money. Now, if you abuse your controller your going to have problems, if you drop your controller (which I have not) I can see where they might pop off assuming they will just snap on again. They have certainly improved my gaming experience. Much greater control/precision of the R2/L2 buttons, very comfortable. Sony should have designed the controller like this to begin with. Use product every day and yes I would recommend.

I think these maybe be better suited for a racing game opposed to a fps. If you make the trigger R2 the trigger pull on the PS3 controller is so long it defeats its purpose. I was using these for a couple month then switched the trigger back and had much better luck. Well designed just not what I wanted because of the controller design!

They're cheap plastic attachments to add triggers to your PS3 controllers. They snap on securely, are easy to take off, and they mimic the OEM style, with the proper numbers and textures on them. If you have a problem with your fingers slipping off the L2 and R2 keys, these will fix that.
However, game designers know that the L2 and R2 keys are not proper triggers like on the Xbox 360, so they design their games to use L1 and R1 instead for aiming and shooting respectively. Thus, you rarely use L2 and R2 keys in shooters, but these will help for driving games.
Unfortunately, these do not increase the comfort of the PS3 controllers. They're not uncomfortable, but they won't give your PS3 controller the ergonomics of the Xbox 360 ones. Sony really dropped the ball there. I love the bluetooth connectivity and rechargeable battery, but the Xbox 360 controllers are much more comfortable to hold and use, and these triggers won't fix that issue.
If you find your fingers slipping off the L2 and R2 keys, get these to fix that. If not, you don't need them.

I didn't think I needed this, but these are pretty cool. They make it easier to trigger the bottom trigger since they extend out, but if you are gaming hard core they can pop off, but that hasn't happened to me yet. They popped off when I dropped the controller the ground.

I really like these. I believe another reviewer wrote they make the controller feel how they should have from factory. I agree. From the moment I put them on, that first grab, they feel natural. Very nice.
I am writing this relating to Battlefield Bad Company 2. It is really the only game I play. At first, I found myself tossing grenades a few times, as it is easy to hit these buttons now. Don't have that problem after a few rounds, but it's nice, as you don't have to move your finger as far to hit the L2/R2.
Great product. Would buy again. Will probably buy a 2nd set for my other controller.
